Easy Migrate overview

Easy Migrate moves workloads from a source hypervisor or cloud to a target environment with minimal downtime. Migrations are organized into waves so you can rehearse, cut over, and roll back groups of related workloads together.

Key concepts

• Wave – a group of workloads that move together. Waves capture dependency order.
• Rehearsal – a non-destructive boot of the workload at the target to validate connectivity and licensing.
• Cutover – the final switch from source to target.
• Rollback – returning to the source if cutover validation fails.
